This brooch - probably dating from the 1950's - was made by one of the few British costume jewellery companies that actually put their name on some of what they produced! The firm was called W.A.P. Watson Ltd. and they were based in Solihull. They started in 1914 and went out of production in the 1970's. This brooch has painted flowers on gilt metal.
